The Young Enterprise Team Programme

Break down the barriers to enterprise!

Young people who experience difficulties with their learning have
the opportunity to develop skills for work through a real-life
enterprise experience.

Students set up and run a company over 1 or 2 academic years.
A weekly meeting is attended by a volunteer from business who works with the students.
Directly supports the development of key and life skills.
Offers students practical experience of work and business.
Provides the opportunity for achievement regardless of ability.
Flexible programme delivery ensures students of all abilities can take part.

"We support the Team Programme because it offers
disadvantaged students those opportunities for business
learning and skills development that are not often available to
them, and it encourages them to develop their own capabilities
and self-confidence in a real life situation."
Annette Di Giovanna, Marks & Spencer Plc

“It’s good fun working together in a team to make the cards and it’s real work like grown up work.” David Collo, Team Programme Achiever, Ygsol Delyn Specialist School.
