Alumni research

Most of you will know about our Company programme.  This runs for an academic year, and in the East of England nearly 5,000 young people have taken part this year. 

Anyone who has been involved with our Company programme will know how valuable it is to the young people who take part.  However, I must admit that I was genuinely surprised by the results of some independent research we have just had commissioned on the impact of our Company Programme.

• For example, Young Enterprise alumni are almost twice as likely as their peers to be currently running their own business

• The research also showed that the Young Enterprise Company Programme is the most effective way of preparing young people for the workplace, above school work, family and friends, extracurricular activities or work experience.

So, if you want a more enterprising culture, Young Enterprise is the answer!
