The Young Enterprise Company of the Year
Competition is an annual celebration of the achievements of
Company Programme
and Team Programme students.
This achievement
is marked through a series of competition events where they
proudly present the results of their year in business.
Young Enterprise Companies appear before
independent panels of judges from the business and education
communities who take a view
as to how well they have performed against the Young Enterprise
criteria, compared to the other companies at each stage
The structure of the competition judging process varies
slightly in the early stages of the competition, but at Regional
and National levels the student companies are judged through
the following elements:
Annual Report - this is a 10 page account from each company
about their year in business.
How each company presents itself at its "trade stand" or
market stall
Interview with the judging panel
A 10-minute maximum (at National level
5-minutes) presentation of their year in business from
each company in front of an
audience of business people, educationalists & personal
guests.
